BS! I have a 9-yr old daughter who told me that the last time she played at her new friend's house, the little friend wanted her to play they were witches!!!

Did it all the time when I was a kid. And I'm older than Rowling. Guess it was all that "Great Pumpkin" influence that did me in.

Kid's have pretended to be witches and goblins and fairies and genies and cowboys and wizards and Superman and dinosaurs and teachers and preachers and policemen and ghosts and vampires and ballerinas and princesses and elves and gnomes and grownups for decades.

Wrong!!! My kids don't pretend to be witches, goblins or any of the such. Only good things do they pretend to be, because it is only good things that I like to be in their heads and hearts.
