Here's a theory: maybe the Bible condemns witchcraft and sorcery because it does not work, and thus anyone who claims to be a practitioner is a fraud.

If I'm not mistaken, there's a passage in the New Testament ("By their fruits") that argues that good magic (i.e., healing) can be disdinguished from evil magic by the outcome.

By this standard, science has produced more good than all other belief systems and practices together.

Even if you add in the hundreds of millions killed in the name of "progress" by politicians.

Really? Where is this? The scripture speaks of demon possession, but not of magic. Healing was a miracle, not magic.
