It seems a bit presumptious that you would know what God wants or demands.

He has told us quite clearly what He wants and demands of us, through the Holy Bible. This notion of "God is whatever you think he is" is largely what got our civilization to the deteriorated state it's now in. It's convenient, easy, and lazy, but it's not reality.
