Bump Yeah, that would be pretty bad. I wouldn't name a dog that! Is that a boy's or girl's name?

'Cody' strikes me as awful, and the excessive use of 'Madison' (pretentious?) of late is starting to get to me as well.

Girls names are easy. Just think of all those great aunts you have. How about Geraldine Esther, Adelheide, Gertrude, Agnes, Josephine, Agatha, Henrietta.
For boys start with "h", Harold, Howard, Heinrich. Then add some names to get your kid beat up with. Norman, Freddy, Oscar, Oliver.
I wanted to name a son Phineas, but my husband wasn't up for it. There's always Erasmus, Obidiah, and Silas.
Good Luck.

Doing family geneology I found some beauts!
Olyampe, Balthasard and Pelagie. Some awful modern ones
that would be even worse with your last name would be: Titania, Wilhemina, Tito ,Rochester or Humphrey. Then there's the one that would horrify them, I think- DARTH!
Grandmas will either stop nagging, or start thinking of 'cutesy' nicknames.

Had a kid in High school named Douglass Dick. Kids can be so cruel. And when they read the roll last name first, the inevitable happened - several times. His therapy is going well though.
