There is something totally masculine in the sound. You guys are looking at it from the wrong angle. I'm sure those young men have figured out that the sound literally drips testosterone. Next time you see a couple of marines "oohrah" watch the female heads turn.
BTW, all that oohrahing you hear on the bases are just "practice", gotta get that sound just right ;o) Just a woman's point of view.
