I'm sorry if you took my post as an accusation, I assure you it was not. It was meant to be a comment on the many posts I read where Hillary is the target. I just find Hillary bashing boring because it's like shooting a duck on the ground.

Are you for real? She came off as being a loving supportive wife who gently needled her husband about what she thinks is in his best interest, not some vase throwing broom rider about to take over a third of the economy. Aliasny is right, after 8 years of Hillary, Laura is delightfully refreshing. V's wife.

It takes a lot of guts, and hard work to be a Cowboy. Cowboys can take a lot of heat, take care of rattlers, and bandits, and at the same time take good care of a lot of cows, the liberals I mean.

In the weeks since the attacks, the once private Laura Bush has emerged as a voice of calm and reason not just for her husband, but for the nation. At home in the White House residence, friends say, she sees herself as a protector of another kind, trying to preserve as much of a normal private life as possible for her family. She makes sure the president takes time for one of his favorite pastimes, playing with their two dogs. And she keeps family and friends close by to lift the president's spirits, inviting them for evenings at the White House or Camp David.
Excellent article! Thanks. Here is a perfect example of the text above regarding Laura Bush:

Radio Address by Laura Bush to the Nation

Are you implying that Laura Bush should now address her husband as Mr President, even in private conversation? Seems likely to me that this is a term of endearment for those two. I think it unlikely that Laura Bush told this story without thinking about it first, and she probably even talked to her husband about it beforehand. She doesn't seem to be a careless woman. I'll even admit that I was troubled by the notion of her opining on the topic until I read the article. After reading the article, it is clear that this is a healthy marriage and they are doing what normal, happily married people do. And, most of the article focuses on Laura's obvious love, affection, trust and loyalty to her husband. Quite the opposite of the Hildebeast, don't you think? God bless you and your wife, if you have one.

No, I was not refering to Laura Bush. I corrected myself a post later. I miss read the first paragraph of the article. A family member shouldn't have to use a title.

Again, I question Laura's use of the term "Bushie" as a term of endearment since her name is Bush too. Bushie is an insulting nickname commonly used by the left to belittle the President.

Do you call your husband by his last name only?

As a matter of fact, I do. We also have a few other nicknames for each other that would really bother you. Perhaps this is a case of "taking back" a word, like "ni----" or "queer". In any case, it obviously doesn't bother him. That is my point. Laura Bush is not stupid enough, nor does she have the desire, to undermine her husband. Again, quite the opposite of the Hildebeast.

A radio address is a lot different from wanting to take over the American Health Care system.
