Get real!! Of course it hasn't affected you. Don't you realize the EMPIRE knows best? Bush is doing it for our 'safety'!! To heck with what the Constitution actually says. That applies only in certain circumstances that happen every third Thursday that fall on the 22nd of the month And it's only against foreign nationals. Don't you realize that Bush is going to be POTUS for the rest of our natural born lives? And if he isn't, we'll make sure that no one like Clinton ever, ever gets in again. So we should give up our rights?There are PLENTY of laws on the books ALREADY..........RICO comes to mind.Being a biker,I have been detained,Frisked,photographed all because of the MODE OF TRANSPORTATION and The way I LOOK!!!NO OTHER REASON!!! Do you know under RICO if 3,got it,3 people are wearing the same shirt they can be detained?Thats right if 3 people are wearing......lets say......1st Baptist Church of whats happening they , by law can be detained.If one looks closely at the underlieing details one can see this legislation has been in the works for YEARS!!!

A spy you say,yes a spy,if you read some of the legislation you will see I have to report anyone spending more then $10.000.00 at my business.

If you read the law, like I did over the holiday, you would know that there are exceptions for businesses to the $10,000 reporting rule.

Do you think the feds should have a right to eves drop on your e mail or anywhere you go on the net?How about your phone,or your house?

No, because the Patriot Act says they don't have that right.

It is our responsibility to know what laws our congress has passed and what bills our President has signed and what Executive Orders our President has issued. There are 70 plus replies on this thread and not one single reply actually references the Patriot Act. Well, here it is people. Read it!

Your pretty good to have been able to read the Whole Law over the HOLIDAY weekend.Im still reading it.Just trying to get around all the "Related" stuff.The problem you seem to be facing is two fold.First,What Constitutes "Terrorism".And second you are putting alot of faith in Government officials to decide what is and is not.Our last ???????I cant say it,said it best(paraphrase)What the meaning of IS....IS.I am a member of a sub culture and have seen first hand through "RICO" UNCONSTITUTIONAL Laws at work.I especially look at them when passed in hast because they useually get twisted around and 99% used for something else.....Mam.
