The good thing about NM going to Gore was there are so few people and so few electoral votes, it didn't make any big difference. Lets hope it stays very few people.

Yeah, let's hope that liberal states like NM continue to lose power relative to the rest of the states.

I'm all for that. Most people are totally unaware of New Mexico and we should keep it that way, I was in Michigan last summer and found you have to make reservations to go camping!! It was a cultural shock because I never heard of having to do that before. Also all I see there are fences and once you get used to the wide open spaces, it's impossible to go back. I'll take bears and coyotes over people any day.
