Yahshua (or Y'shua, or Yehsua, or Jesus) is The Law, The Word of YHVH (both Old Testament and New Testament) the Di-Di-Ah. KING of Kings, LORD of Lords, Ruler of the Universe in Great Majesty (Melech)!
Thanks Matchett-PI for sounding the KOOK ALERT!!
It is a mystery, but I'll take a stab at it: Jews are saved by faith by looking forward to the coming future Messiah and because they love him and are obedient. The Lord will reveal Himself as He wills; probably 2,000 years ago when he preached to those in "prison" for He is outside of time. Christians are saved by faith by looking back to the cross of Jesus and by continuing in the word and obedience. Obedience is not works, it is our reasonable service. The concept that the Christians can do anything they want and be saved by Grace which they have stretched like saranwrap over all sin they refuse to repent of through unbelief, while the Jews keep the law and go to hell is a damnable heresy.
Ro 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
It is implicit that all faithful Israel will be saved. There are apostate Jews as there are apostate Christians, none of whom will be saved. Please reread Romans 11 in full.
I presume that you are referring to the murdering Palestinians making unprovoked attacks on innocent civilians in Israel. It means that people should help the innocent and not have dinner with their oppressors nor demand a state in their homeland...unless Bush wants to give them Texas or the Bush Ranch. Can you say, Sbarro Pizza Parlor? Yes, I know you can. America has found out in the towers that the Muslims think, "What's good for the goose (Israel) is good for the gander (America)" and has declared war on both. United you may stand but divided you shall surely fall. The Bible clearly states that ALL nations which go against Israel shall be destroyed and "all" includes America. The wise should be very afraid.
Well, YOURS is a great post. Nice comparative study. Can you think of any scriptures about attributing the works of satan to God, of what He thinks about that and of the consequences?
Good post! I remember a prophecy once wherein the Lord said, "They don't know me, they only know my name." One of the most frightening sections of the whole Bible is this:
Mt 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Many today who consider themselves Christians follow a Jesus who is all love and no consequences and behold only the goodness and not the severity of God. They are in for a big surprise.
Ac 15:19 Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God: 20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood. 21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.
It was the Romans under Constantine who put to death all believers who refused to renounce their essential Jewishness.
Lu 21:20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
That is why Yahshua (Y'shua, Yeshua or Jesus) said: "I AM the TRUTH!" In Hebrew that said to everyone then and now: "I AM the Love of YHVH and I AM the Fear of YHVH!" The beginning of wisdom is fear of the LORD God, and His justice which is and shall be forever!
People want to only see the LORD God as love withOUT justice! BUT love cannot exist without Justice! Justice is our ally; without justice there is no happiness or blessings. All virtues, all graces, wait upon justice. Justice is TRUTH at work; it is applied honesty. The LORD God gave us justice (The Law, The Word of YHVH - The Di-Di-Ah because it is one and the same) to maintain harmony and enjoy shalom. Yahshua is both harmony and shalom, and without Him there can be neither in one's life, in one's relationship with others, or in the world.
(4) "Hear O Israel YAHUVEH is our Elohim (God) is the One and Only.
(5) You shall love YAHUVEH, your Elohim with all your heart, with all you nefesh (soul), and with all your strength.
This is the Shema! The first two verses of the Shema command Israel to acknowledge Elohim's (God's) Oneness and to love Him.
One expresses their love of Elohim (God) by Doing his Mitzvot (Commandments) out of their Love for YAHUVEH, and Trust in Him.
YAHSHUA HAMASHIACH stated it in Mattityahu 22:37-39 ( Matthew):
"And YAHSHUA answered him, and said, "You shall love YAHUVEH your Elohim (God) with all your heart, and with all your nefesh, and with all of your strength.
This is the Shema in the Torah of Moshe repeated by YAHSHUA HAMASHIACH. So what does the word strength mean: exceeds, exceeding, exceedingly. Our Love for YAHUVEH our Elohim (God should show up in our daily lives by doing more Mitzvot (Commandments) out of our Love, and Trust in YAHUVEH with our strength our Love is Demonstrated as Exceeding ( to go beyond the given or supposed limit) everyday.
Everyday we do another Mitzvah (Commandment) in our Lives our Love is being demonstrated in our daily lives; as exceeding (to go beyond the given or supposed limit) the Love for YAHUVEH and being Demonstrated in our Lives. So let our Love for YAHUVEH and His Torah should be exceeding (to go beyond the given or supposed limit) everyday in our lives.
Ask yourself a Question; how can I show my Love for YAHUVEH and His Torah?
What did YAHSHUA HAMASIACH in Mattityahu 5:17-20 (Matthew):
"Think not that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets, I have come not to abolish, but to complete. Truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one yud or one stroke will pass away from the Torah, untill they all be accomplished. Therefore whoever shall abolish one of these least Commandments, and shall teach the sons of men so, the same will be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven. And whoever shall keep one of these least Commandments, and shall teach the sons of men so, the same will be called the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. And I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds (to go beyond the given or supposed limit) the righteousness of the P'rushim and scribes, you will not come into the Kingdom of Heaven."
So our righteousness must exceed (to go beyond the given or supposed limit). Therefore add a Mitzvah (Commandment) in your life. Which one do you want to work on in Love, and Trust in YAHUVEH? The Torah has no Bounds. Meaning that the Torah tells us to exceed in our righteousness daily!
D'varim 9:4: "Do not say in your heart, when YAHUVEH pushes them away from before you, saying "Because of my righteousness did YAHUVEH bring me to possess this Land and because of the wickedness of these nations (People) did YAHUVEH drive them away from before you." Therefore the righteousness must not be that we feel we have Merited; rather we continue to Demonstrate that our righteousness Exceeds (to go beyond the given or supposed limit) of those nations (People) around us. So let us be Demonstrating the fact that it was not in our righteousness that we have YAHSHUA HAMASHIACH; rather it is because YAHSHUA HAMASHIACH exceed (to go beyond the given or supposed limit) in his righteousness by Keeping and Doing the Mitzvot (Commandments). So as Talmidim of YAHSHUA HAMASHIACH our righteousness must exceed (to go beyond the given or supposed limit) of the people around us as a Reality in our own lives. Our Actions speak louder than our Words!
What does your Actions Demonstrate to other People around you? Do you Demonstrate that your righteousness exceeds (to go beyond the given or the supposed limit) that is in the Torah of Moshe, and the Torah of YAHSHUA HAMASHIACH?
If you continue to go beyond the given or supposed limit; and your daily life demonstrates is in itself a Witness to other People about YAHSHUA HAMASHIACH. Be a Example that the Torah of Moshe, and the Torah of YAHSHUA HAMASHIACH does have you exceed ( to go beyond the given or supposed limit) than shall your righteousness be a light to other People. Isaiah 60:3; "Nations (peoples) will walk by your light and kings by the brilliance of your shine Lift up your eyes all around and see, they are assembling and coming to you; your sons will arrive from afar and your daughters will be raised at their side."
Have a Good Shabbat Shalom!
Shabbat Shalom,
Name Withheld because I do not have his permission
Amen sheep! love'n folks right into hell..
