The entire foundation of this Nation, and the guardian of it's Freedom, is a armed and knowledgeable population. One bent on remaining Free....no matter what.
Sadly...most people have abdicated thier responsibilities....and have allowed thier Rights to be taken from them, Rights that were bestowed by God.

What people seem to forget is that most of the laws we decry today were thought benevolent and necessary in their day as well. Most fail to realize how time and "interpretation" can twist the original intent(think Constitution).
It is up to each and everyone of us to speak out against what may seem necessary but can easily be twisted into something far more sinister.
You are correct, all of these Bush apologists would be screaming if Clinton or Gore had done similar.
