What an outrage!, I just finished listening to the 2000 Libertarian Candidate for President Harry Browne on Hannity and Colmes. What an OUTRAGE!. Harry Browne said Bush was a liar that was lying to the American people, that we were bombing innocent civilians that did nothing when it cameto the terror attacks, that we did not try to solve the situation by negotiating with the terrorists, that America was a mean bully, that Tony Blair's document proving Osama did it was all a fraud, and the whole world hated us and most people did not like us!

Duke was openly dissed by the GOP. Will the L's do the same with Harry Whatshisname?
To: Cuban123
I bet I am more AMERICAN than you are which support Harry Browne and his UN American statements. I guess we can start calling him OSAMA BIN BROWNE, BIN LADEN'S AMERICAN SPOKESMAN

He's just trying to get his 15 minutes.

I hate to say it but imagining Harry Browne or Pat Buchanan as President makes even Ted Kennedy look somewhat reasonable -- at least in the homeland security department. sheesh.
To: Cuban123
First, Browne is MORE American that any Cuban. Any.
You don't like what he said, fine, this is America, where one doesn't have to ask permission to say unpopular things, at least not according to the Constitution.
In the meantime Cuban, keep your repressive attitudes to your bannana republic dictatorship where there is no dissent and Castro gets 100% approval in the polls.

Obviously you don't pay close attention to the threads on which you post. He's already been dissed a couple times on this thread alone.
How he gets the nomination is beyond me. His 2% brilliance is far outshadowed by his 98% ineptness.
But then again, authoritarian conservatives don't like it when their big government schemes are questioned.

Eh? bin Laden's goons initiated force--you'll note in another thread here that Justin Raimondo has taken the libertarian Cato Institute to task for favoring military action in response, so I don't know where you get the idea that Harry Browne speaks for all libertarians.

"he is the main guy that represents the party!, like it or not!" Well, until Bush was elected, the Republican's "main guy" would be that weasel Trent Lott. Do you claim that he represents all Republicans?
To: Eagle Eye
Oh, I meant that the GOP publicly denounced Duke. I didn't realize that the L's establishment had done the same with Browne. Unless, of course, you're saying the the L party operatives are here on this thread. That certainly wouldn't surprise me.

I bet I am more AMERICAN than you are ...Sorry, you lost that bet. Pay up. First thing, go read the First Amendment. Then read it again.
I swore an oath to protect and defend a document that says that people get to say things that are not popular and that I may not agree with, no matter how outrageously unflattering to the politicians in office.
Maybe you will someday learn that you cannot judge the individuals of a group based on the actions of an individual.
Or all Cubans like Castro? He's the head Cuban, right?

I didn't see Brown on FOX, but the official position of the Libertarian Party is both in its monthly publications and I am pretty sure its web page. It fully supports acting in self-defense, as we have, to eliminate the terrorist threat. If someone can find Party documents that differ with that position, I would like to know, as I am a libertarian. However, what party would I change too? The Republicans with their drug czars taking away constitutional rights that took centuries and millions of lives to earn, or the Democrats, with their business and environmental regulations that take property rights away and revert us all to serfs? Who is left? Please tell me. You have all become blind to the truth in one way or another. Either we shall become slaves to the state in the name of drug puritanism, or we shall become such slaves in the name of property and environmental regulation. In either event, I remain a slave.

Libertarian Harry Browne bashes President Bush and America's War on Terror The Libertarians had something good and they blew it right out their asses. Good job, idiots. Burn, baby, burn!!!

To: Cuban123
harry browne as president:
security advisor: 'mr. president, the world trade center was just attacked by terrorists'!
browne: 'chill dude! i just fired up this bong'!
security advisor: 'but mr. president, thousands of people are in those buildings'!
browne: 'hey man, like this room REALLY IS oval shaped'!
security advisor: 'but mr. president, what now'?
browne: 'did you know i'm gonna be on 'poitically incorrect' tonight? i'm pumped!! you got any cookies'?
To: anniegetyourgun
Maybe they will. Browne seems to be searching for relevance by inflammatory rhetoric.
Some of you folks seem willing to hang L/libertarians on FR based on Browne when it is advantageous, but not accept that many don't have great reverance for him when it is not convenient.
I'll contintue to defend his right to say what's on his mind even when I don't agree with it...just as I would defend YOUR right to do the same.
To: BADJOE
My husband was and did vote the Libertarian ticket for years.
Today, he admitted that Bush has done what no other President in his lifetime has done...to call for the complete annilation without apology or civil trials of our enemies.
He is no longer a Libertarian.
