LOL He, like most of the others, can't handle the truth. They want to believe this fantasy that the South was some kind of utopia that got ruined by the North. They put out this image that the slaveowners and their slaves all sat around on the porches after the day's business to have a good time and live in harmony and happiness, the slaves being perfectly happy to make their owners rich, the slaveowners being fully appreciative of their slaves work and treating them with the utmost respect because of it. Yeah right.
the southland or the north were NEVER utopias. NONETHELESS, the status of free blacks, latinos,jews,asians and (MY people) the american indian was un-argueably better in the CSA!
