Two teenagers have been arrested for trying to blow up a 7-month-old kitten on July 3, the Citrus Heights police said Tuesday.
The teenagers, who were not identified, were booked on felony counts of exploding a destructive device and cruelty to animals.

Neither should be subjected to suffering. However, the fetus, being a human made in the image of God, is fully human and, thusly, should enjoy all of the rights recognized (not granted) by our Constitution (unfortunately the leftists have tossed that aside in their godless quest for instant gratification).
The animal has no such rights, however, we recognize that deliberately hurting animals is evil and we punish it.
Animals can be taken for food in a merciful way. That is how most things are done in this nation.
Yes, some of these factory farms push those limits and I wish more people would realize the unhealthy conditions that exist there. Unfortunately, most of the PETA whack-jobs continue to vomit forth this nonsense about humans and animals being equivalent "sentient beings" and so even their worthwhile information is discarded by the majority of Americans.
Our concept of right extends from the belief that all men are created equal, that they are the product of a Creator, and that He has endowed us with certain rights.
Attempting to extend those rights to animals is beneath consideration by reasonable people.

Sorry, but my KITTEN is more important to me than Osama Bin Ladens wifes fetus. And as soon as someone can tell me the aches and pains and feelings they felt in side the womb...a living creature crying out in pain wins my choice for feeling pain.

I know how to fish and hunt. I'm smarter than dumb animals too so it is pretty easy to trap them since they are dumb. I'm also proficient with many weapons and have an opposing thumb allowing me to use those weapons to kill and eat those dumb animals.
No your not smarter than some animals....ever try to catch a feral cat in a cage twice? See...since you play on their innocence and inexperience, you are able to catch them in a cage the FIRST time...but given the chance to try it again, the animal will probably attack you from behind. You with a gun against an inexperieinced trusting animal is something you should be ashamed of tough guy. ANd...mopst people know how to hunt and fish...ain't too hard.

Baloney. Half of the blue zone don't know the difference between a rifle and a shotgun and fishing is'nt just all about worms and hooks.
