I always thought The Who to be libertarian. "Won't get fooled again" is one of my favorites.

I wouldn't pick "The Real Me" as necessary conservative, but as an anti-authoritarian song....which is fine by me. :)

The Who are all over the map, and Townshend is a socialist, but don't read too much into his writing for political messages.He's confused himself.
