Have you read the Kelly - Wearne book, and if so, do you have a comment on it?

Kelly and Wearne aren't very "technical", could you suggest a book that gives an explanation of the DNA comparison procedures used in forensic (so-called) science?

I use "so called" because the primary objective of forensic scince is not "objective knowledge" but nailing the perp.

No I havent read it, and Im afraid I cant really offer any non-technical books on the subject. The fact that you can get a so-called "expert" to say (with a straight face) that the PCR data is not-conclusive (because there is an extremely LOW probability of error, like a 1 in a million) so they can get their tesitmony fees is simply a disgrace to our legal system.
