Television journalist? Isn't that a contradiction in terms? There is no such thing. Is John Tesh a "television journalist"? Why not, I say! He's as good looking as any of them, got a deep voice, and he can play the keyboard too. Remember, a week or two ago, some British newspaper article posted here referred to one of our blow dry heroes as a "news reader"? I recommend reading Tunku Varadarajan's columns instead of watching these pretty faces.

Well, let me be the lone ( I know I will be) voice in saying I think Amanpour is a top-notch journalist. She's great at reporting Arab and Muslim propaganada while seeming to be balanced. If that's the measure of a top-notch journalist, then she is a fine one.

Well, let me be the lone ( I know I will be) voice in saying I think Amanpour is a top-notch journalist.I won't start a flame war here. Instead, I would ask you to support your opinion with examples showing her "top-notch" ability.

Thanks for the link. I had forgotten about that. We all need reminders.

I note the comment of one John Doyle of Canada's Globe and Mail. He defended the war person lady and said feminists are furious. The Globe and Mail- ah sad, sad, in the light of what it once was. Now filled with well disguised politically correct propaganda. Oh well, I will try to mend fences and praise the war person lady. Ahem(clearing throat in Edwardian rhetorical style). I hold it that she is about to rival one of the most authoritative and informative journalists of Television of all time. (Loud voiced declamation next). Walter Cronkite What could be more sublime praise than that?

I understand that the braver souls at CNN can rappel down the side of the building using only Christine's underarm hair!

Amy Kellog has been the best, IMO...plus she is really cute, unlike Herman Munster Amanpour.

"rankled feminists." This is a good thing.

Remember, a week or two ago, some British newspaper article posted here referred to one of our blow dry heroes as a "news reader"? That is what Brits call all of their television news "talent." Only in America do our news readers (Brokaw, Jennings and Rather) profess to be "journalists."

Walter Isaacson denied she is a second-rate diva of parachute journalism. That's because he knows she's FOURTH-RATE!
Boos for the war slut :o)

Ashleigh Banfield disgusts me. I will never forget her grabbing WTC survivors as they emerged and shoving her microphone in their faces. Sensing she was running out of fresh questions she asked one poor gentleman, "So, what was it like inside, did you see any bodies? Did you have to step over any bodies in order to get out?"
Besides, those glasses are just so...so..."I don't really wear glasses but don't they make me look fashionably smart?"...hideous...
She needs to just go away...

"
An intelligent woman with a bias beats out a ditz any day in my book."
I guess that makes sense if you're going to date her. But otherwise, I think the former is a lot more dangerous than the latter. The fact that someone is "a ditz" would be more readily apparent to the average less than fully informed, viewer than would the bias.

now if ms. amanpour would provide the recipe of how she got her husband to lactate, in that he's the one home with their infant. Liberals of Jamie's stripe have no trouble with lactation. It's part of the PC/feminist "Sensitive Guy" syndrome. Other well-known lactating liberals are Alec Baldwin, Phil Donahue, Mr. Streisand (can't think of his male name), Alan Alda, ad nauseum.

Christianne Imawhore has always been my favorite. She's a solid 10 if Chelsea is considered a 9???
