It was the night of 12 cheeses, a gathering in which the main fare was fromage, the aged offerings of cow, sheep and goat's milk. The cheese was spread on slices of crisp bread, served with glasses of red and white wine.

It was a cheese tasting held in Glen Burnie Town Center, where Anne Arundel Community College has recently opened kitchens and classrooms used by the college's Hospitality, Culinary Arts and Tourism Institute. LOL, I don't believe there's any wildlife in Glen Burnie except a few rednecks that I can think of.

There are a surprizing number of white tailed deer, however.

Can't remember the shape, but the pie sine is tan. You'd think theta chosen a less-cheesy color, like yellow or white with blue speckles.

I have waited long for a dedicated cheese thread to make this public announcement.

As Dave Barry says, "I am not making this up".

The Gallup Poll people called me about a week ago, and polled me, about cheese. It had to do with marketing data for the "It's the cheese" ad campaign that the California Dairy Board, or whomever, is running. It was...eerie.
