I have noticed more and more posters standing up for Abortion, Homosexuality, the Porn Industry and Drugs since I first came to this site back before the 2000 Election.

You got that right. It started by the pro-druggies characterizing anybody that opposed the legalization of drugs as being statist Nazi's who only cared about infringing on other's "freedom."

Jim Robinson is anti-war on drugs which means those threads are allowed to infect the forum.

What he doesn't realize is pro-legalization are either leftists trying to push their agenda under the conservative buzzwords "freedom" and "the right of the people"...or those who have been duped by leftists into thinking that.

Once the camels nose was under the tent, it became an easy thing for a leftist to come on here, post something outrageous, wait for someone to respond with an insult, and then get them banned by hitting the abuse button.

Libertarian DOES NOT equal conservative.

Your lack of insight is astounding.

Libertarian DOES NOT equal conservative.

i.e., you're not too bright when it comes to judging others. I guess your definition of conservative has been self defined as the baseline for "conservative." We're a group that ranges from the far right on a scale to the middle of the road or in my opinion we cover the range of all people who do not espouse the LIBERAL/Leftist agenda = not easy to define.

i would agree.

our founding fathers assumed that all citizens had a faith in god. as such, a government that placed a lot of laws on people was not necessary -- we were all following, or at least trying our best to follow, god's law.

today we have a lot of self proclaimed atheists and others who proclaim a faith but are not practicing it. the government has found it necessary to pass laws to protect us from each other. unfortunately, the government has also passed laws to protect each of us from ourselves.

no laws with out no moral or ethical intentions is a case for anarchy and total chaos.

with freedome comes responsibility.

Another straw-man is that if you favor Anti-drug legislation then you must be against the 4th, 5th and 10th amendments. Nothing could be further from the truth.

How would you know? You don't sound 'conservative' to me. Authoritarian is more apt, imo.

Jim, would you like to comment on the 'infection' you have allowed here?

I am anti war on drugs, and you have utterly failed to identify my motivation for being so. With respect to "liberals" posting something ridiculous, I have to let you know that every time I respond to an "Anti-Libertarian" thread, it is always just that. A rambling diatribe of a vanity post (originally posted by the religious authoritarian types) assailing libertarianism for everything the vanity poster perceives it to be. However, they (like you in this reply) get the majority of our motivation and philosophy utterly wrong, and people like me step in to defend our views, knowing full well we will be called everything from druggies to baby rapers by the likes of you, who apparently has no concept of freedom or personal responsibility.
