My strongly held beliefs are based in fact. Their's are based in a bed of lies. Interpretations are thing, but if you make numbers up out of thin air, that's most definitely a lie.

Before I looked into the arguments on both sides, I was neutral, leaning anti... After I evaluated the reasoning and numbers (paying no mind to the arguments about the Founding Fathers), I became very pro-gun. Most of the people I have encountered who are anti (including friends of mine) have done no such comparing of the facts. Heck - most of the reporters I have spoken with haven't either. I can understand their emotional reasons for thinking what they do, but that doesn't change the fact that what they advocate is based on misinformation. If you've ever even asked an anti for backup to what they're saying, they don't have it.... Not all opinions are created equal.
