It is unfortunate that two people who ostensibly worship the same God can become divided over issues of faith. The part of Islam that I find most difficult to acept as a westener is the concept of a theocratic state.

Sorry, but neither practicing mormons, muslims, or Jews worship Almighty God:

The haters of the LORD would pretend submission to Him, but their fate would endure forever.
My Lord Jesus, who is God in the flesh, says "whoever receives Me, receives not Me but Him who sent Me." Likewise, whoever denies Him will be denied by Him.

You just excluded the Jews from believers in G-d, and in fact suggest that they hate G-d:

The haters of the LORD would pretend submission to Him, but their fate would endure forever. So the Hebrews, of which triber Rabbi Joshua was a member, worshiped G-d for millenia before Christ while hating him?

Also, it may be true that "The haters of the LORD would pretend submission." But your quote does not say that only the haters would do so. The true believers would, as did the Jews, submit to the lord.

You read the Bible very thoroughly, and I admire that. But thinking is not precluded by that and, in fact required. For it is the lack of sufficient reflection and humility that leads good hearts, such as yours, to hate and prejudice.
