High School Sophomore Attends Sadistic Sex Party Linked to Homosexual Task Force
Culture and Family Institute ^ | Nov 15, 2001 | Rhoda Demeris

[Senior Editor’s note: the reporter attended “Creating Change” undercover, registering as an attendee rather than as media. This was necessary due to the Task Force’s penchant for expelling from Creating Change anyone known for opposing homosexuality. (C&F Editor Peter LaBarbera and an associate were expelled from a Creating Change conference in Pittsburgh in 1998.) As a pro-family writer, Demeris (a pseudonym) had little reason to believe that the Task Force would grant her full and fair access to the conference.]

Culture & Family Report Exclusive

MILWAUKEE — On Friday night, a high school sophomore attended a sadomasochistic sex party at the Hyatt Regency Hotel here that was advertised by a speaker at the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force’s “Creating Change” conference, according to another panelist at the event.

As a speaker at a workshop titled “Your Eyes Say Yes But the Law Says No,” Andrew Park, executive director of the Philadelphia-based Center for Lesbian and Gay Civil Rights, said, “There are 14- and 15-year-olds at this conference. There was somebody at the reception yesterday who was a tenth-grader.” This reporter attended the “Your Eyes Say Yes” session.

The “reception” to which Park referred was actually a “BDSM” (Bondage & Discipline, Sadism & Masochism) sadistic sex party held Friday night and advertised earlier that day by a speaker at another workshop, entitled “Sex and Politics,” at Creating Change. The homosexual grassroots conference, held every year by the Task Force, drew over 2,000 homosexual activists to this Midwestern city.

Meanwhile, Rep. Tammy Baldwin (D-Wisconsin) dismissed an appeal by Concerned Women for America (CWA) President Sandy Rios to pull out of the homosexual conference due to its “extreme” fare — particularly youth-oriented sessions such as one titled, “Drag 101: How to Turn Kids in Makeup into Kings and Queens.”

As the featured speaker at a plenary session Friday morning, Rep. Baldwin read directly from a CWA press release calling on her not to participate in Creating Change. She made light of Rios’ concerns over a panel slated to discuss, among other topics, “intergenerational sex” (which Rios said is a “code word” used by pedophiles). Baldwin sent the homosexual crowd into wild applause and laughter when she mentioned the “Drag 101” session cited by Rios (see below).

Baldwin, the first openly homosexual person to win election to Congress as a non-incumbent, represents a district that includes the Wisconsin capital of Madison, a liberal college-town.

HEAVY SADISM PRESENCE

At her “Sex and Politics” workshop Friday afternoon, Judy Guerin, executive director of the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom (NCSF), a pro-S&M group that advocates an end to all sex-related laws, invited the audience to “come to a reception at the hotel here tonight which should be fun and can include SM play if you wish to attend.”

SM “play” refers to sadistic acts carried out among “players,” which includes beating, whipping, and the intentional humiliation of one person by another. (I did not attend the SM party that evening.) Sadomasochism activists contend their activities — which include “slave-master” relationships — are not abusive because they are “safe, sane, and consensual.”

The “Sexual Politics” workshop was one of several dealing with the new frontiers of sexual and gender revolutionaries, including one panel on “multiple-partner” relationships entitled “Poly Wants More Than One Cracker: Polyamory in a Culture Dependent upon Coupledom.”

At the “Polyamory” session, activists debated what to call their movement, and how to define it. The “gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender” movement is continually developing new permutations on sexual and gender identity. For example, one of the “Youth” workshops (which I did not attend) was for “genderqueers,” and sought to answer the question, “What makes gender questioning such a hot topic in queer youth communities?”

One polyamorist described the movement in terms of “ethical non-monogamy,” while another said “autonomous sexuality.”

The Task Force has strengthened its ties to the emerging sadomasochism lobby, allowing several sessions to be led by members of NCSF, which lobbies police agencies not to make arrests at violence-laden SM “parties” and counts among its other allies groups like the Lesbian Sex Mafia. Recently, the NCSF opened an office in Washington, D.C.

Fliers were circulating at Creating Change for a Saturday night “BDSM Play-Party” to be held at the Best Western Inn Towne Hotel two blocks from the Hyatt. Ralph Ovadal, director of Wisconsin Christians United (WCU), called the hotel and confirmed that the S&M party was taking place with the management’s approval.

On Friday and Saturday, WCU led a street protest outside the Hyatt, holding signs such as “Repent or Perish” and “Homosexuality Is Sin.” While some conference-goers engaged Ovadal and the other Christians in serious dialogue, for the most part the pro-family contingent was met with scorn. Frequently, “gay” attendees would yell out phrases such as, “God loves everybody,” or remark how “hateful” the protesters were.

DRAG 101

On Saturday, I attended the “Drag 101” session that had raised eyebrows at CWA. The room was packed with over 100 people, including many college-aged kids, and some who appeared to be in high school.

The session was built around two people: Nadine, a “drag king,” and David, a “drag queen,” who instructed the young crowd on how to cross-dress. The heavy and very “butch”-looking Nadine described how women can use artificial means to create the look of a having a male sex organ in their pants, going into great detail that is inappropriate for this family publication. She sported a fake “beard” and said women can create the appearance of facial hair by saving the clipped hair from a haircut and using spirit-gum to attach it to their face.

Nadine also recommended that the women use a sports bra “two sizes too small” or tightly wrapped ace bandages to bind their breasts in an effort to look like a man.

David addressed the young men. He said that they could tuck their genitalia away in an effort to appear womanly, and that they could use makeup to create the illusion of cleavage. David, who wore a black bikini-type outfit, said men could create the image of breasts by putting on a bra with water-filled falsies. He recommended using rubber foam, tucked into tight-fitting Danskin leotards, to create the look of a woman’s curvaceous thighs and hips.

Then David gave an actual “drag” performance, in which workshop participators stuffed money into his bra. He sat on other men’s laps and flirted with them. Nadine also gave a demonstration of how, dressed in drag, she flirts with women.

GENDER-NEUTERED BATHROOMS

As at past Task Force conferences, “transgender” activists were well represented, so much so that the doors on one set of restrooms on the second floor of the Hyatt Regency were adorned with signs that read:

These restrooms welcome all genders
Please respect this space
Gender specific rooms are available across the atrium next to the regency ballroom

The signs contained the official logo of Creating Change and the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force. On Thursday, I attended an all-day conference led by “transgender” activists. There I learned that minor boys who consider their “gender identity” to be female are allowed (with parental permission) to begin hormone therapy to acquire feminine characteristics, through the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles.

Amidst all this was the continuing pressure on the Boy Scouts of America. One panel, which featured two representatives from the United Way of Greater Milwaukee, was devoted exclusively to changing the BSA’s ban on homosexual scoutmasters. The session’s leaders said they were not “attacking” the Scouts, but “educating” them. Nevertheless, they said they wanted the boys organization to feel the financial pressure necessary to force the change.

“Drag 101: How to Turn Kids in Makeup into Kings and Queens.”

I'm thinking of yet more uses for a daisy cutter.

Why am I surprised this took place in Milwaukee?

Madison I could understand. But, Milwaukee...?

I've never heard it used to describe, say, a Gen-Xer having sex with a Pearl Harbor veteran. Only to describe adults preying on children.

It's just hard to believe high school sophomores are welcomed at events like this.

Adults are arrested every day in this country for selling cigarettes or alcohol to minors. But apparently it's OK for adults to hit them with whips as long as they're wearing leather. Teaching them the lifestyle is OK, too, apparently, as long as these groups pay for the rooms at the major hotel chains that book this evil, with a major credit card.

We should prosecute these groups, and the hotels that harbor them

Ugh. Somebody (braver than me) ought to get a small concealed cam-corder or similar device smuggled in to these events. I will wager a steak dinner and beer that there is "unprotected sex" going on at the "after seminar parties" -- and that there are underage "participants." Want more AIDS funding? Want "respect"? Then these same folks who cry for funding and "respect" will have to answer for their actions first.

You shouldn't be surprised that this happened in Milwaukee. Milwaukee is very tolerant of the homosexuals; even in regards to kids. Dahlmer could have been stopped a year earlier with a 14 yr old Hmong boy who was naked in the street, bleeding from the but, and obviously impared. Jeffery explained to the cops that it was his boyfriend and he was drunk (actually he was drugged). That made everything ok with the cops. Later that night Jeffery dined on his "boyfriend". This alone shows that in the homosexual community in Milwaukee it is ok to get children drunk, and to have sex with them. Not so for straights though!

Another Milwaukee case is that of a bar called the Sanctuary. It was a straight bar that catered to Goths and BDSM types. Lots of trouble from the police and the local politicians, even though just down the street from it was a homosexual bar that got even wilder with the BDSM stuff and no one uttered a peep about them.

Areas where female prostitutes frequent are heavily patroled for prostitution in Milwaukee. However a few miles south on National Ave, where the male prostitutes "work", no arrests are ever made.

Don't ever be surprised by double standards in Milwaukee. I have the misfortune to live here. Although most larger cities have the same double standard also. It is the result of the homosexual campaign having suceeded in convincing people that it is something that they can't help. Ok, fine; let's give them that point for the sake of argument. Does this make it ok for them to pray on kids? Remember the Dahlmer story; the kid was obviously underage (14), he told the cops this was his lover (pedofile) and drunk (legal age in WI is 21), and the cops let him take the kid.

Anyone wonder why I miss my adopted home town of Anchorage, AK? There was a "gay pride" parade up there one year; only 2 of the marchers did not wear disguises.

One polyamorist described the movement in terms of “ethical non-monogamy,” while another said “autonomous sexuality.”

One hint as to the moral ambivalence of this movement comes from their obsession with euphemising everything. By couching their perversions in flowery terms, they seek to legitimize, or at least disguise, acts that even their own twisted consciences find abhorrent.

Calling an assassination "termination with extreme prejudice" doesn't make the target any less dead. And a compendium of gargle like "autonomous sexuality" and "ethical nonmonagamy" doesn't make this movement any less wretched.

The homosexual community makes Bill Clinton look like a conservative. Even so-called 'ethical' leaders among the AIDS militants, like Andrew Sullivan, are constantly defending bizarre levels of promiscuity among their culture such as multiple-partner orgies, 'barebacking', and AIDS gifting (sharing the fatal virus as though it is a sacred 'gift'). That is why the liberal media rarely exposes this stuff. If the general public knew what they were promoting, they would be aghast.

This is a small segment of the homosexual community. I find it appalling that they allow underage people to these events, but painting all homosexuals with this brush makes no more sense than painting all heterosexuals as the skum that populates the internet and the dark corners of magazine shops.
