This is in conflict with your original statement, "There will be no retalitation. Folks, settle down."
You originally issued a putative statement of fact, when in reality, it was conjecture.
Whether you wait for it or don't wait for it will have no bearing on whether or not it happens. I don't deny your right to a fatalistic "que sera" attitude, but I do challenge any purported statements of fact that would have us be comforted by what boils down to an alleged proof of a negative.
