I don't know why some FReepers are bashing Kabbani here. He seems to be denouncing Muslim extremism and working with our authorities to his own peril. He may be wrong about the suitcase nuke threat, and I hope he is, but he seems right in his stance. If there were more Muslims like him, we'd have a much easier time rooting out the terrorist cells amongst us. We can't condemn Muslims who don't speak out while simultaneously condemning one who does.

FWIW I got the same impression of him from that article. Sounds like he's one of the few "peaceful muslims" we've heard so much about.
