I hadn't read that; on your other point, I thought I read that the US hadn't signed such a treaty with Arafat, that it was between it and another country (Israel?), therefore, since we didn't sign such a thing, we have no do duty to honor it (I think Judge Napalitano on FOX explained this one day). Nevertheless, you're right, her ONLY motivation would be to gain brownie points to run on.
