OUCH! Sit down, Bill! Lt. McCaffrey needn't have bothered, though. I don't think there's much danger of Bill Clinton, and especially not Hillary, of attending any FDNY memorial events in the near future. They can't afford to pay Bill's fee, for one thing. And, anybody who whose driver doesn't stop for a cop, runs him down and then doesn't so much as offer a feeble "sorry" for the event isn't likely to be bothering the FDNY, either.

I know for a fact that Clinton went to the funeral of one of the captains of the FDNY. Lt. McCaffrey's letter is responding to something that has already happened - it's not hypothetical.
