So now ask yourself -- why are you willing to put your faith in a government which allowed KNOWN terrorists to infiltrate this country in the first place?

Had they been doing their JOB, 911 would not have happened.

Now you want to place your faith in the same people who contributed to this mess in the first place. I honestly don't understand it. With the LONG history (since the new deal) that this government has of abusing the constitution, we should be fearful and untrusting.

You make a very good point. I do also believe the citizens should be buying up ammunition and guns. I'm glad we have another president in the White House for sure, this one really can't be compared with the previous one. Bush may be a good man but I also know many of the FBI agents are the same who chose to allow this to go on. As close as this got to possible take-over, I hope there will be citizen militias started and strengthened as a result. I think when the airports shut down quickly was what stopped the Muslims from making a much much bigger mess of things.

I'm not exactly trusting. I get flamed enough for admitting I will not be flying in any planes, partly because I refuse to submit to the searches and I refuse to be frisked for no reason. Of course I'm not being forced to fly, I can drive instead and so far there aren't agents out on the highway checking drivers. At least once I get past the border checkpoints they have posted miles away from the borders.
