Good question. And why did Life conveniently rearrange the film's sequencing when it printed the still frames?

Questions, always these nagging questions.

There's more than just problems of out of sequence frames - there are movements of things/people that can't be moved/move that fast in the time between frames (1/16 of a second, indicating some frames are missing - deliberately excised. OTOH there are people who believe that the original Zapruder film was uh, diddled by the original processor - supposedly it was immediately picked up by the govt. from Zapruder and taken for processing to an unknown location.
