So how important is it that a defamation suit proceed against Lee ? This seems like a trivia matter. If you wanted to, almost everyone in the entire country could sue someone for defamation. The media, the Clintons, any democrat could sue FR posters for defamation. Katherine Harris, Clarence Thomas and just about every other conservative could sue a million democrats each for defamation. Insults are a part of everyday life.

Suppose, JW wins this suit. What is the net effect ? Lee pays money to Trulock. Big deal. Why not try something more effective like looking into election fraud, bribing US Congressmen, waste and fraud in govt. contracting, illegal stock manipulation, mail order fraud, identity theft, and so on.

If my reputation was ruined simply because race mongers didn't want to find the truth, I would want my good name cleared of any false accusations or charges also. If this case is won, then the whole Chinagate Scandal will gain more credibility.

The answer to that question simply is that no one is above the laws of the United States. There are laws against selling nuclear secrets to other countries, there are laws against illegal campaign fundraising, there are laws against lying under oath. Breaking the laws of the United States should have consequences and that is the issue at stake here. Are we going to fight to uphold our justice system and ultimately uphold our way of life? Or are we going to be cowards to the criminals of this country? There can't be two different standards of justice in the United States.

We have to do something government corruption and not just sit around and expect apathy to fix the political corruption here in the United States.
