I see that the stupid party is at it again. If they won't stand for anything they will fall for everything. What I don't understand is why are they so afraid of the democrats? Rarely do you see a republican on TV saying something with force but you sure do see the democrats laying out excatly what they want and tell everyone they will get it and you know what they do! It is becoming vary hard to vote for the stupid party, if you vote for the rats at least you know what you are getting there. Like the man said, "don't p** on my boots and tell me it is raining."

There is something fishy about this...why would guys we trust like DeLay and Armey say that this is a good deal? Remember, this compromise legislation still has to be passed by both the House and Senate again and then signed by the President. Maybe the House will vote it down. What I'd really like to see is Phil Gramm filibuster the thing. He's got nothing to lose since he's leaving next year. Or maybe Bush will veto the damn piece of crap.

Bush has 87 % poll popularity and he lets the DemocRATS run the show? When he's down to a mere 51% Bush will have to let Daschel sit in his lap and do his talking for him.

This federalization is a total capitulation by Lott and the GOP.
