A group of college Republicans claims it came under verbal assault by students and members of the faculty of a California university for distributing allegedly offensive posters announcing a rally in support of U.S. forces in Afghanistan....
The rest here.
In a letter to Vann, a copy of which was obtained by WND, Harris called the posters "crude and ignorant," and said she was "at a loss to understand why you thought these posters would be a good idea."
Let Ms. Harris know what you think

Can you post a copy of the poster? It would be nice to know what it is we're being asked to judge.

Race, is that you?
And how is that cat-like girlfriend of yours, Jade? Is that her real name?

The flyers were allegedly labeled as "hate flyers" by some students and faculty members, the group said in its statement. I plead guilty to hating OBL, al Qaeda, the Taliban, and the political correctness Nazis.

Haven't seen a copy of the poster.
However, the article states that the poster carried a single picture - of Uncle Osama. Campus thugs deemed pictures of Uncle Osama "offensive to Arabs".

When the "hate" is directed at Republicans, well, obviously, it is not "hate", now is it. Tolerance only extends one way, and since the Republicans have in the past extended their hands in friendship, the other side need not reciprocate, or even acknowledge the attempt. Osama bin Laden is clearly identified as the primary perpetrator and chief architect of the plans to destroy the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and whatever other targets of opportunity that were considered, but not carried out. He is a public figure, and as such, his ethnicity is no longer a concealed fact. If Muslim students at Cal Polytech-SLO are uncomfortable with this fact, they have several options.
1. Renounce any connection with the radical fundamentalist factions.
2. Renounce the Muslim religion altogether, and either convert to Judaism or Christianity.
3. Leave the campus, and what they consider to be an untenable position, transferring to a more friendly location (Berkley?).
4. Depart the country immediately. The climate throughout most of the United States will not improve measurably for some time to come.

I'd have to see the poster, before I could decide. Although it is highly likely that if this were Berkeley there would be no offense save a support for America, at Cal Poly there may be a good reason why it would be considered offensive. Show the poster, and then we can judge.

What does coming under verbal assult mean? Does he mean somebody called the poor students names? What a bunch of wussies!! Hey Mr. Vann think about what the firemen, policemen, and the military people face everyday before you come whining about you "verbal assult". (This also applies to any Democrats who are coming under "verbal assult" as well.)

Pro-U.S. rally suppressed by campus thugs ... 'Thugs'...? Are these the same limp-wristed, bed-wetting Young Neo-Stalinists I see mincing around during their Gaja ceremonies (oops, I mean 'Ecological Studies classes')?
What did they do anyway, chant at you, look at you 'funny', what....?
