This statement evinces you ignorance. By collectivizing "Jews". The Irgun and Stern were small dissenting organizations. For example, the Haganah which was the recognized Yishuv (the Jewish leadership) defence force, had 17,000 men and 4,000 women in 1937. In comparison the Irgun had 1,800 men. Moreover, members of both the Irgun and Stern were arrested from time to time by the Yishuv. Again, the Yishuv was the "government" and official entity of the Jews in the British Mandate before the State of Israel was declared in May of 1948. And again, both the Irgun and Stern were formed for many reasons as entities fundamentally as retaliatory groups to the Arabs who had been rioting and murdering Jews for years. Eventually they began to attack British targets because the British had betrayed the National Home by lying concerning Arab displacement. The British had therefore in the 1939 White Paper severely restricted Jewish immigration and would have given that entirely into the hands of the Arabs five years from the White Paper's pronouncement. Moroever, the British enacted discriminatory land purchasing laws against the Jews which the Anglo-American committee (1945-6) had itself noted as discriminatory. Hence the British were in the process of turning on the National Home and selling out the Jews because of the Arabs, oil, and other strategic reasons. They even turned some of their guns against the Jews in Israel's war of independence and also staffing the Arab Legion with some British officers.
All this and more is why the Jews needed their independence from the British and the Arabs.
And then you go ahead and say ...By collectivizing "Jews"...
Truely evidence of ignorance. A great deal of insight in those three words.
