The truth is that Israel promotes it constantly so as to promote the ethnic cleansing of Arab land, acre by acre, house by house. That's the pump that feeds the cycle now.

Israel gave up the Sinai to the Egyptians including oil wells Israel developed which would have made her self-sufficient. Israel got out of South Lebanon. In the 67 and 73 wars Israel could have walked to Amman, Damascus and Cairo. She didn't. Barak was going to give the palestinians the baby and bathwater and Arafat spit on the offer.
