What happened in Crown Heights was an outrage, but I've not seen any evidence of increasing or systematic attacks on Jews in the USA. The idea that the USA is not safe -- in fact, the safest place on earth -- for Jews, is just preposterous.
That you haven't seen it doesn't mean it doesn't exist or isn't coming. The Crown Heights pogrom was significant not just because it was anti-Semitic, but because of the reaction of the various parts of our society...government, the judiciary, and the media, in particular.
