I believe Britian ceded the Jews Israel, so what is the big deal about them buying the land from Arabs instead of demanding they leave? They were much nicer about it than I would have been.

More to the point, they were much nicer about it than the Arab Muslims who forced Jews out of their countries by the hundreds of thousands, after generations of having lived there, and forced to abandon businesses, homes, artwork, all properties...
And nobody noticed. Nobody cared.

You might avail yourself of the documents. The Irgun, Hagana and Stern gang organized terrorits attacks on the Arabs and the Brits to get Britain to "cede" Palestine, but it was NEVER theirs to give. The Arabs helped the Brits oust the Turks.
