Just wanted to say thanks for posting the article on the possible judgment of God on this nation. Sorry I had to run the other day but I am in Thailand at the moment and I cannot carry on an extended conversation at this Internet cafe.

The argument seems to be quite simple. Is God in control or do evil people change his eternal plans to judge ALL nations that forsake him? Is the United States somehow an exception to the many promises in the Bible that ensure that a nation (including the nation of Israel) will be punished for its evil. In fact a so called Christian nation can expect a more severe judgment because of the greater light it has received. Waving the flag and repeating the tired refrain of "free will, free will" does not change the mind of God. He has a perfectly free will to do as he chooses and he even uses the devil himself to accomplish his purposes regardless of will, free or otherwise. Anyway, I have to run again. I just wanted to say thanks.
