With the exception of summer, you really can't predict the weather for any significant amount of time.
The fronts come down from the north and collide with warm humid air from the Gulf of Mexico. It rains. Then it dries out until the next front comes through. The cycle repeats, with higher frequency in the spring (and some of those turn into nasty thunderstorms).
If they are staying for any amount of time, the weather will be nice (or at least nicer than Moscow this time of year) again in a few days.
I shouldn't talk. I'm here in Los Angeles and we had a nice hard rain last night ... first in a long, long time. Lookin' at a gorgeous sunset out my window right now. :-)
