46. The U.S. government declares a ban on the possession, sale transportation, and transfer of all non-sporting firearms. A thirty (30) day amnesty period is permitted for these firearms to be turned over to the local authorities. At the end of this period, a number of citizen groups refuse to turn over their firearms. Consider the following statement: I would fire upon U.S. citizens who refuse or resist confiscation of firearms banned by the U.S. government.
While the 29 Palms survey was at face value ominous, it turned out that the guy who put it together was doing so as kind of a term paper or dissertation, and IIRC was definitely not the type to advocate what he was testing for. (Still, I don't doubt that it served as a prototype for some of the bad apples who wouldn't mind seeing such stuff happen.)
This flyer, however, really isn't in the same league. It lists a bunch of fringe groups of the type that have historically been responsible for spawning some pretty nasty characters like McVeigh, Harris (the anthrax guy), etc.
It's not targetting the Baptist Church (or Assemblies of God, etc.), but inasmuch as it seems to be giving a lot of folks the impression that it is targetting law-abiding citizens, I think it might be prudent for them to revise it and "disambiguate" the language. (If nothing else, maybe a press release saying who they're not going after.)
