It is primarily young women and single women who vote the socialist line. There are understandable reasons for this. Government is a daddy or husband substitute in their lives.
On a national level, I beleive the most workable solution would be a constitutional amendment that brings voting rights (male and female) into line with age requirements that are already embodied in the Constitution:
- Eligible to vote for president: Natural-born citizens age 35 and older;
- Eligible to vote for senator: Citizens age 30 and older;
- Eligible to vote for congressman: Citizens age 25 and older.

Personally, I don't know if that would even work, for many of the boomers are still kids, mentally speaking. You know, the pot smoking hippies, pro-abortion women types in their 40s who view the past as an oppressive theocracy, despite the fact that their wishes are tearing this country apart. In my opinion, 21-35 year olds are more conservative than 35-55 year olds. However, I could be wrong, for it could be roughly the same across both age categories. ie. same percentage of Conservative/Liberal voters. As far as teens and college age kids, yeah, they're more liberal, but hopefully they'll grow out of it.
