Speaking as a woman - I don't know how much this has been raised further in the thread - it seems a bit obvious to me that women have for a few decades been conditioned to think, whether consciously or not, that men are the big bad enemy, that womens' rights groups have all the answers, and what women really need to protect is the so-called right to choose and other such moronic campaigns. So they'll pick whatever candidate best suits that model. In other words, NOW's lobby works, especially if they catch them young enough, with PP in schools etc. Women's Lib run amuck. Which is an oxymoron, if you think about it, since they are instead enslaved by the very groups vowing to liberate them.
