What is wrong with Female Voters in the United States? If you take a look at elections since 1980, Female Voters vote increasingly liberal.
Let's take a look at the 2000 Election for example.
If you count Only the Male Vote. Bush would have won in a Landslide. Losing only the States of Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Massachuttes, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Hawaii, and the District of Columbia.
If you count only the Female Vote, Gore Would have won in a Landslide, with Bush only winning the States of : Montana, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, Alaska, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky and Indiana.
Why is this? What makes the Female American Voter so liberal? This is important because Women vote in larger numbers (7 Million More) Than men.
I would expect that single females smart enough to find FreeRepublic would be very much an exception to the general rule.

It is sort of a common experience among the "In-Crowd."
You hit that nail right on the head WileyCoyote. I say this with much embarrassment, there are many women who justify the idiot things they do as "for the children" and where have we heard that before. Kind of like, I must have this abortion because I can't afford to take care of this baby so in killing it it will be much better off. It breaks my heart.
Of course it's much easier to vote someone into government who'll give you a handout rather than actually working at a relationship with a man.
I raised my daughter the right way and I'm teaching my son how to recognize liberal women and then to run away from them!!
These women would obviously have to be the shallowest minded of all! Anyone, (man or women), that would abandon their own flesh and blood, should be charged with a felony...then they would have their voting rights taken away.
I don't know how the District attorneys office for your county handles the deadbeat issue, but ours has "Holiday Sweeps". There is no discrimination with the sex of the deadbeat parent. If you didn't pay, you're arrested and put into the county jail. There are downsides, being in jail provides no income. Which doesn't help the responsible parent out financially either. Hence, a catch 22. I'm glad your child or children have at least one awesome parent. Good luck!:^)
As a single woman and a former lib who's now seen the light, I think you are right. I think women in general feel more vulnerable than men. While men tend to think, "Oh, no, another big government program, more big government breathing down our necks," women tend to think, "Gee, I might need that program someday."
Also, a lot of women are taken in by the big lie that Republicans are just a bunch of selfish, mean-spirited old white guys who want to keep women barefoot and pregnant-- while the libs are the open-minded, compassionate ones who will help women and children. It's not true, but that's how a lot of women think. I think the tide may be turning, though-- more women are wising up and seeing the light.
It is really amazing how many women want to kill their kids. I guess they want the fast life without the kid life. Who would say that murder is not legal?
They don't understand the difference between being a philanthropist and a socialist. (When the philanthrophist sees the lady is about to step in a mud puddle, he lays his cloak at her feet. The socialist rips the coat off the back of the man standing next to him and throws it in the mud.)
Women tend to be leftists, because it sounds so nice and warm and fuzzy. Most are raised to be dependent on a man, (even the FemiNazi's are dependent on men for their "victimhood") so they are already one step closer than men to being dependent on the state and vote accordingly.
My personal take on this is a bit different though. I think Democraps have set themselves up in two areas that appeal to (average)women. It's the *Feel-good* party - as in They'll take CARE of me, they'll feel my pain, etc., etc., ad nauseum. They also preface everything with It's for the children. Most women are emotionally invested in their children and take it on faith that the Democraps mean it . . . .
That said, I have come to think of the Republican Party as the "Thinking (Women's)Party." If one can use ones head, and not ones heart all the time, one can see through the Democrap rhetoric and lies to the essential truth of the GOP. The smartest women I've ever met are GOP. Won't Hitlery be surprised???
Given all that I've said, no party is perfect, but I take what I like and leave the rest.
They have nothing in common with me, and they don't care about families or anything else I care about.

Abortion is pretty much the reason I stopped being a Democrat. And that's true for many Republicans. Instead of avoiding the issue why don't you try to convince us we are wrong. Show us that abortion is not the brutal, painful murder of a baby. Can you do that?
