Bush was a former cocaine addict, and had no evidence to back it up, you would flame him until his computer exploded! Her politics then and now aren't necessarily the same.

She was more moderate in her Yale days. No kidding. Michael Medved knew her at Yale Law and he has said she didn't hang around with the SDS crowd. Probably for appearance sake however. Later on she had no problem becoming involved with CPUSA off shoots such as the Children's Defense Fund.

What is CPUSA? Other than a woman's right to choose, the national health care debacle and not remembering, I don't know (or care) much about her political views. Basically she says and does whatever it takes to get elected and stay elected. She could be a closet conservative for all I know :-).

Hillary attended the black panther trials and formed a relationship with their attorney, Charles Garry, when he lived on the Yale campus. She organized 'watches' of the BP trials to 'protect' the BP from having their rights violated. This is published info in B. Olsen's book, Hell To Pay. He is also correct that she was not a laywer at the time. She also led demonstrations at Yale. You can find out all this info yourself. But you already knew that.

CPUSA is the Communist Party USA. They were finished as a mass movement by the mid fifties but the members did not go away. They became the New left which protested the war. When the draft was eliminated, they found 90% of their support gone and went into identity politics and what they called "the long march through the institutions". NOW, La Raza, various gay groups and the Children's Defense Fund all sprang from these roots. Betty Friedan,for instance, was a card carrying member of the Communist Party USA.
