Ah, I get it....one only needs the laws of probability to come to a definitive verdict.

Well, I am not disagreeing, but engines HAVE fell off planes before...........do you recall the AA flight in Chicago back in 78 or 79.......left engine fell completely off the plane..........DC10

Also, in the summer of 1990, the entire B1B fleet was grounded, because an engine had fell off a plane during a training exercise. This is why the B1B did not participate in the Gulf War.

Just FYI for discussion

A REALLY long time ago (prior to 1987 I'm sure), G. Gordon Liddy wrote a piece in OMNI magazine in which he pretended to be giving a situation report to the President after terrorists had crippled America.

In it, he described something called a Liquid Metal Embrittlement Agent.

The idea was, the terrorists gained access to the planes exteriors, and then "drew" on them invisibly with this stuff, and the planes came apart in flight.

Anybody else ever heard of this stuff. Is it real?

I can't recall if Liddy was writing this as purely fictional, or if it was supposed to be based on actual possibilities.

Is it possible to express a distrust of government without sounding hysterical? If this article is any indication apparently not.

Government's out to get me!

Come to think of it, I think Reagan's alzheimers disease is a terrorist attack that the Government is covering up. Sheesh, get over the paranoia already. Deal with only the facts as you know them, unless you consider coincidence a science....

>>...The airplane went down on Veteran's Day, ...<<

Actually, Veteran's Day was the day before.

Maybe it's just me, but perhaps we should actually listen to the CVR and analyse the FDR before leaping to any conclusions. Planes managed to crash before 9-11, and they will continue to do so. I have not heard a single government spokesman say that this was definitely an accident, have you?

"Known fact" number 2 is, um, not a fact. Veterans' Day was Sunday.

But even so, I'll wear a tin foil garrison cap for the next week just to be safe.

Somehow the introductory word "mediawhores" starts the mood, and then the Lincoln/Johnson amazing coincidences casts an aroma of b.s.

To avoid the temptation to simply announce

KOOK ALERT!

let me just suggest you stick to the Second Amendment and give up on aeronautical engineering, history, economics, statistics and political science. You don't seem to have an aptitude for them.

The federal government is on record as saying the crash was "an accident" -- "some sort of engine failure" -- long before they had the voice recorder or the flight data recorder (black box, which as of this writing they claim not to have yet recovered) in their possession -- curious and suspicious to a very high degree as it's highly unscientific and unprofessional.

This is an out and out lie. An untruth. A statement as fact of something that isn't. Not only was the government not on record as "saying the crash was an accident" yesterday, they aren't today. What they are on record with, and if you're paying any attention you should know this, is "nothing has been ruled in and nothing has been ruled out." They've said that there is currently no evidence for terrorism. They have not said that it wasn't terrorism. There's a significant difference.

And yesterday wasn't Veterans' Day. That was Sunday, which was, coincidentally, two months, to the day, after the 9/11 attacks. Surely it would have been much more symbolic to crash another plane on 11/11, Veterans' Day, than on 11/12, the day after Veterans' Day.

As to this - "Reports from multiple pilots...say they have NEVER known of mere engine failure to make engines and tail fins fly off of airplanes", it doesn't take much research to come up with this - "Engine and pylon separated from aircraft during takeoff. Loss of hydraulics to slats. Aircraft rolled and crashed. Highest single plane death toll in U.S. aviation history. Maintenance-induced damage to the pylon. " - 5/25/79, O'Hare, American Airlines FLIGHT: 191.

Hmm...that sounds suspiciously like what happened yesterday. I bet that Chicago incident was terrorists, too, preparing...

2) The federal government has been exhibiting -- forever -- a lack of trust and faith in the ability of the American people to handle the truth.
well, the truth is horrible - but never TOO horrible

The only way Angel Shamaya can say this conclusively and factually is if Angel Shamaya was one of the terrorists. And "Shamaya" is an Arabic/Muslim-sounding name.

Now what was the phone number to the local FBI office?

"The sky is falling, the sky is falling" said Chicken Little.

Okay, now I guess that there never were any plane accidents that happened by mechanical failure, they are all victims of terrorist attack. This includes all plane crashes as far back as Kitty Hawk in 1903.

It would be nice to find a Bogey Man under every rock, however I don't think you will. I still firmly believe it was an Alien Nazi Dwarf with an Illudium Q-238 ray gun which brought it down.

Give people a couple of coincidentals and it immediately becomes a plot. By the way, Veterans Day, the real holiday ... is on November 11th, not the 12th!

If it was terrorists:

Why that plane instead of one with UN types on it?

Why crash it into a town instead of the UN?

Why make it look like an engine failure and therefore easy for the bad government types to hide from the people?

one need only look at the known facts -- overlaid with the Law of Probability -- to know that they are lying.

Consider the following known facts:

LOL!! The first three are "facts" that show us they are lying? Uh, dates in time prove someone is lying? Wow, I will have to use this one in court.

As for the other facts: Every time something happens, whether its a plane crash, a building bombing or whatever, every other person and their brother become engineering experts over night, making themselves look like utter fools. I would guess that most eyewitnesses and "piolets" interviewd have no clue about airplane construction or the physics surrounding it. This combined with "heightened emotions" would probablu cause eyewitnesses to give slightly different stories. Heck, ask any traffic cop and he will tell you that you get different stories from witnesses involving wrecks on the road. Nuff said.
