The meningitis connection again.......the first man to die was also diagnosed as having meningitis.

I thought he was diagnosed with pneumonia? Anyway does a person get the black scab with only with cutaneous anthrax or do the scabs show up also with inhalation anthrax.

Heavens, despite the hours and hours of media rant about anthrax, I have no idea about any of it. I just note that the meningitis diagnosis has risen again. Early fall is a time when that disease rears it's ugly head, particularly at colleges and other places where large groups of people are in close contact.

Stevens was indeed diagnosed as having meningitis. Blanco was diagnosed as having pneumonia.
