And just as all German's were not Nazi's, all Muslims are not terrorist. You are confusing ethnic origin with ideology. Nazism and Islam are ideologies, evil ones. Germans, Arabs, etc. are ethnic groups.
I was trying to explain that just as there were Germans in this country who were totally loyal American citizens ( almost 25% of Americans have some German blood in them) during WWII, there can be totally loyal American-Muslim citizens here during the War against Terror.
This is the comment he made to me
