We have our own fifth-columns up here who are "warning" and "threatening" the Canadian
government and "the Canadian people" not to side with the "oppressor America".

Hang in there! We get the same stuff on talk radio here in Los Angeles. As in otherwise rational
sounding American Muslims who deplore what happened on 9-11...and in the next breath
say the fatwah against Salman Rushdie was "a good thing".

This opinion piece is one of the nicest thing I've heard in the Canadian media about
the USA since that Gordon Sinclair piece from the Vietnam era.
(PS: I have relatives in Edmondton...and two emigrated cousins in Dallas. And could
be tempted to "go Canadian" for a good job in Vancouver, B.C.!)
