When will someone admit that the system broke down because is could not provide an accurate count within the margain of error? This is like trying to determine the outcome of a game by looking at game films afterwards.

I take it you're willing to go first? ;-) That's a reasonable claim, particularly when one factors in the time frame in which a decision had to be rendered. But if the question were, "Can one figure out who got the most votes in Florida if given a year to do it?" the answer might be different if the margin of error shrinks considerably as the allowable time exands.
