I can't thank you enough for your help today. Not everyone knows the trouble I had trying to get this posted today. But for you, it still wouldn't be posted. Thank you.

For those who don't know, I've been almost in tears - I tried for almost 5 hours to post this thread, starting this morning at 9 A.M. CST. Couldn't get past the Preview without timing out. Anyway, Jim, wish I could give you a big hug in person for posting it for me.

God bless you, Billie, for your patience and perseverance to honor those FReeper veterans amongst us. None of you vets can ever get enough thanks for all you've done and will continue to do on behalf of this country.

I'm very proud of my father who was the WW II vet "rep" in the lead honor car of the Veterans' Day parade in his community on Saturday. The organizer asked my dad if he had his uniform, and he said, "Well, yes. But I don't fit into it any more, as the last time I was albe to get into it was about 50 pounds and nearly 60 years ago!" [He's always been known and loved for his sense of humor.] He chose, instead, to wear his VFW cap.
