Directors of several Red Cross blood centers said their sites may discard as many as 1 of every 5 donations and the national total could easily reach tens of thousands.Disgusting! Every single one of those pints should go to help the families of those lost at the WTC!!!

Yeah, put it in canning jars and seal it with wax lids. There were 5000 dead and none used donated blood. Can you imagine the excess? Where do you think blood in hospitals comes from? Donations.
