I first heard about Rush through a
Reader's Digest article about him in 1992. I thought, "I've gotta find this guy on the radio!" I didn't know what time he was on or what station in my area, so I just kept turning the radio dial for a few days until I found him. Every day after that from 11:00-2:00 (central) my radio was tuned to Rush, until last year when the station that carried him stopped and a new one picked him up. The new station carries it on a taped delay at an inconvenient time for me to listen. I sometimes am able to hear the first half hour or so, but miss it most days.
I actually called in and talked to Rush a couple of years ago and taped the conversation. I still have that tape somewhere...hmmmmmm
