Civil Rights Leader Slams Clinton's 9/11-Slavery Link
Though the elite media remain largely silent on ex-President Clinton's outrageous comments this week linking the 9/11 terrorist attacks to pre-Civil War slavery, at least one civil rights leader says he was disgusted by the episode.
"It's a shame that a former president would attempt to use the plight of black Americans for his own publicity," said the Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson on Friday.
"His desire for power and publicity outweighs any concern for what is right," he added.
Peterson heads up the Brotherhood Organization for a New Destiny (BOND).
In a speech at Georgetown University Wednesday night, Clinton began a rambling dissertation on terrorism and argued the U.S. is "paying a price today" for sins of the past.
"Here in the United States, we were founded as a nation that practiced slavery, and slaves quite frequently were killed even though they were innocent," Clinton observed.
But Peterson said it isn't the institution of slavery, but instead the Clinton administration, that deserves blame for the 9/11 attacks.
"It is clear that Bill Clinton not only failed in the war against terrorism, it can certainly be argued that his administration aided and abetted them," the civil rights leader contended in a column for The Washington Dispatch.
"Bill and Hillary Clinton's statements and actions prior to September 11 are public record, and should be carefully examined," Peterson added. "Whatever they have said and done since the tragedy that does not match up with their pre-September 11 words and deeds should be regarded as spin at best."

I also think the black race should give each white person in America $5000 to pay for all the white solders who died in the Civil War to help get them free.

By the way, if you find a race whose worst sin is comparable to freeing O.J. Simpson, wouldn't you want to belong to it? This reparation idea is preposterous. But so are your comments, factmart.

To those who think I'm racist for these views are wrong. I hate evil ideas. The idea that it ok to let a murderer go becuase the white man has been mean to our race is evil. the BIBLE says it is just as bad to let a guilty go free, as it's to convict a innocent man.
It's not just the O J case that the black jury has let a guilty man go free, they have been doing it all around this country. I will tell you this any jury who let a guilty man free will pay a price in their own lifes.
It's time for the black race to stop this now, for as much as it hurts all races, it will hurt the black people the most because they are committing another wrong.
